A Balm With A Purpose

20% of every Pink Divinity Balm sale will be donated to Breast Cancer Ireland this Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This October, we are turning our blue Divinity Balm Cleanser pink in support of Breast Cancer Ireland. Our signature blue has been replaced with a naturally derived soft pink shade, created using beetroot pigment. We’ve also given it a new fragrance of white tea, vanilla and rose.

Everything else stays the same.

The same indulgent, cushiony balm melts into a silky oil before emulsifying into a light milk, dissolving makeup, SPF and the day itself without leaving a trace.Skin is left soft, supple and nourished, never stripped or dry.

But this launch is about more than a new colour. It is a deeply personal campaign inspired by the experience of Doctrine co-founder, Caoimhe Donoghue, who was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in December 2025 at just 32 years old, seven months after welcoming her second baby.

Unlike the symptoms many people associate with breast cancer, Caoimhe’s diagnosis did not begin with a noticeable lump. Instead, she noticed a change in her breast and trusted her instincts enough to get it checked. Caoimhe is sharing her story alongside the launch to raise awareness and encourage women to know their normal and never ignore a change.

“I didn’t have what people call typical symptoms of breast cancer. All I can describe it as was a change in my right breast. After pregnancy, it was easy to assume it was something hormonal, but because my mum had breast cancer twice, although it wasn’t genetic, I knew I wanted to get it checked.

At first, I was reassured that it was probably nothing to worry about. Both my GP and specialist felt that what they could detect was very small. But by the time I was diagnosed in December and began treatment just a few weeks later, everything had changed. My tumour had almost doubled in size in the space of a few weeks. The cancer was aggressive.

Looking back, it’s frightening to think what could have happened if I had waited. Since my diagnosis, I’ve spoken to so many women who say, ‘I’ll give it a few weeks and see if it goes away.’ If that’s you, please don’t wait. Know your normal, check your breasts regularly and if something doesn’t feel right, get it checked.”

Following her diagnosis, Caoimhe underwent chemotherapy and a mastectomy, followed by radiotherapy, while continuing to balance treatment, motherhood and being part of a growing Irish skincare brand.

“Overnight, my world changed. I was balancing treatment with two small children and continuing to work, which actually became a saving grace because it gave me something positive to focus on.

One thing I stayed consistent with was my skincare. Every morning and every evening, even on my worst days, I washed my face and applied my moisturiser. That’s why creating the Pink Divinity Balm means so much. I hope it raises vital funds for Breast Cancer Ireland, but I also hope this bright pink product becomes a daily reminder for women to prioritise themselves, know their normal and never ignore a change.”

20% of every Pink Divinity Balm sale will be donated to Breast Cancer Ireland, helping support their work in research, education and patient support.

We hope Pink Divinity does more than sit on your bathroom shelf. We hope it starts conversations, encourages women to know their normal and reminds us all not to ignore something that feels different.
