How often should I use this mask?
We recommend starting with once weekly use. As your skin builds tolerance, you can increase to up to twice weekly.
Is this suitable for sensitive skin?
This formula contains lactic acid, which is generally considered a gentler AHA, but we do not recommend use on sensitive, compromised, or actively irritated skin.
Will this cause irritation or stinging?
A mild tingling sensation can be normal when using exfoliating acids. However, if you experience strong discomfort or irritation, rinse off immediately and discontinue use.
Can I use this with retinol or other exfoliants?
We recommend avoiding use in the same routine as retinol or other exfoliating acids. Alternate use to reduce the risk of over-exfoliation and irritation.
Can I use this if I’m pregnant?
While lactic acid is often considered one of the gentler exfoliating acids, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before introducing any new active skincare product during pregnancy.

This mask is so quick, effective and crucially doesn’t upset my skin barrier even with weekly use. All my serums and moisturisers are more effective and my skin appears brighter and clearer.

Only my new favourite Doctrine product - what a mask, I could feel it tingling dead skin cells off my face, on initial (90 seconds, first use) application. That evening I caught my forehead in a mirror and even lines were reduced - this is going to be like the stunning blue cleansing balm and I won't be without it.
