A gentle, at-home exfoliating treatment designed to improve the look of dullness and uneven texture.

Formulated with lactic acid to help lift away surface dead skin cells, this mask smooths and refines the skin without disrupting its balance. Glycerin helps maintain hydration, while antioxidant-rich matcha supports the skin against environmental stress.

Skin is left feeling softer, smoother, and visibly more radiant.

The Scent

Green tea and honeysuckle absolute. A fresh, light, and sunny floral-green scent.

Why Matcha?

Matcha is naturally rich in antioxidants, helping to support healthy-looking skin and maintain balance.

But its role goes beyond performance. From its distinctive green tone to the experience of using it, matcha brings a sensorial element that is central to the Doctrine approach — transforming routine into ritual.

Why Lactic Acid?

Containing 10% lactic acid, a gentle AHA, this mask exfoliates by dissolving the bonds between dead skin cells to reveal smoother, brighter skin. At this level, it delivers an effective at-home resurfacing treatment—refining texture, evening tone, and boosting radiance. With added hydrating benefits, it leaves skin feeling soft, plump, and balanced rather than stripped.

We recommend starting with once weekly use. As your skin builds tolerance, you can increase to up to twice weekly.

Is this suitable for sensitive skin?

This formula contains lactic acid, which is generally considered a gentler AHA, but we do not recommend use on sensitive, compromised, or actively irritated skin.

Will this cause irritation or stinging?

A mild tingling sensation can be normal when using exfoliating acids. However, if you experience strong discomfort or irritation, rinse off immediately and discontinue use.

Can I use this with retinol or other exfoliants?

We recommend avoiding use in the same routine as retinol or other exfoliating acids. Alternate use to reduce the risk of over-exfoliation and irritation.
